Trendafilka - For the Olives

Trendafilka (nombre que recibe de la rosa silvestre de los Balcanes) , con sede en Nueva Orleans, es un conjunto vocal de once integrantes que se inspira en canciones folclóricas tradicionales de zonas de Europa del Este con una rica tradición cultural de canto polifónico. Fundada en Nueva Orleans alrededor de 2016, la exploración de las tradiciones polifónicas europeas por parte de Trendafilka surgió de un deseo común por el canto en grupo, así como de una fascinación compartida por la cultura y las tradiciones antiguas. Tras dos años de esfuerzo y una exitosa campaña de Kickstarter, el grupo lanzará su segundo álbum de estudio, For the Olives , el 22 de noviembre de 2024.

ДахаБраха- Хмелева Project (ДахаБраха & Port Mone)

"Khmeleva Project" was created in 2011 by the Belarusian instrumental trio Port Mone (portmonetrio.com) and the Ukrainian ethno band DakhaBrakha (dakhabrakha.com.ua). Solo works by both bands are well known and popular both in Europe and beyond it.
In 2012 the joint project released the album "Khmeleva Project". The Ukrainian event agency ArtPole played the key role in organization of the whole process having taken every effort to release the album. The album was recorded at Toyastudios in Poland with the support of the Polish independent label Hermetic Garage.

With their first album of 2006 "Good Night" DahaBraha not even entered – but broke into the music space, took roots and started growing actively. That was a live joy – both in itself, and because, in particular, the album consisted of recordings of the group's live performances. Now –crystallization takes place, and so you see the first studio album by the project. On the one hand, it means that a part of the songs will seem as though familiar to you. On the other – even familiar things will appear here in a new light. But all the same this light remains – magic. Not such, as the good old entertaining "magic lantern", but – such as that of Gabriel Marquez, Goran Petrovich, Taras Prohasko. When they surprisingly unite the most ancient past of different people and continents – and their modernity – and the space, in which all this lives, belongs to the world and light, and not to time... When attention to tiny, seemingly, details results in the ability to discover and see the Universe in each grain of sand, any drop. When everything takes place so truly that it often seems sheer fantasy... DahaBraha is sometimes water – feeding, cherishing, carrying and guarding. And sometimes – the thinnest blade cutting a mustard grain in half in order to find there – wind, sun, freedom. Nobody knows what exactly each of us will find here, but we are sure – to find. This music is strange – but our world is strange as well

Drobinska: Cuie De Cirnat [Moldavia, Rusia...]

"Torbellino multicolor de danzas serbias y rumanas no deja a nadie sin tocar, si Drobinska juega en la cafetería Lisboa subterránea o castillo Gasprom suburbano. Melodías de boda de los pueblos eslavos del sur traer un sentido de una celebración inolvidable, abierta a todo el mundo.

Oleg Drobinski (clarinete, gaitas, flautas, bouzouki) fundó la banda en 2003 después de viajar en los Balcanes, que estudia en Chishinau conservatorio y vivir un tiempo en Francia.
Dmitri Ignatov (bajo, bouzouki, percusión), músico universal cuyo rango se extiende desde la música medieval hasta Rock`n`Roll.
Maxim Karpychev (saxphone, clarinete), se graduó en Odessa invernadero, proviene de Krymea, Ucraina.
Alexander Romitsyn (batería y percusión) antes de trasladarse a Moscú toca con diversos grupos en su ciudad natal de Kazán, capital de la república tártara.
Basem Al-Ashkar (al oud, - luth árabe) nativa de Palestina, llegó a Rusia para estudiar música clásica en el violín, pero mantuvo vínculo con sus raíces que juegan al oud ".

Estas Tonne - Bohemian Skies (2009) [Ucrania]

Estas Tonne' is a charismatic modern day Troubadour spreading an inspirational message of the new consciousness and paradigm whilst playing all over the world, delighting audiences from Americas to India, from the Middle East to Europe.
Born and raised in a former Soviet Union, Estas Tonne' studied classical music at the local music school. For more than ten years though, he put his guitar aside. ...His passion and love for music has been finally reactivated by the jazz-guitarist, Django Reinhardt. The inspiration he experienced, re-kindled a passion for music and a completely new and different path: The path of the Heart. Over a period of some years, the artist focused on specifying his guitar style. He has been travelling across the world playing on countless streets and hundreds of cities, at Festivals, in concerts and at different events. Many parts of the world, amongst others, the artist’s quarter of Montmartre (Paris) had a formative effect on his musical development.
The artist is known for his unique and remarkable guitar style by touching listeners deeply, especially those who witness the intensity of his music live in concert. Apart from the solo performance he's collaborating with dancers, musicians, clowns, poets, filmmakers and other artists.
Estas Tonne has been involved in various film projects as an actor, co-writer and co-producer as well as in countless theatrical experiments where he performed and improvised live.
