Oscar Emmanuel Peterson (Montreal, 15 agosto 1925 hasta 23 diciembre 2007) fue un pianista de jazz canadiense. Oscar Peterson es considerado por muchos críticos como uno de los más grandes pianistas de jazz de todos los tiempos (Scott Yanow, 2004). 

Sus socios son los más constantes bajistas musical de Ray Brown y Niels-Henning Pedersen Orsted y los guitarristas Herb Ellis y Joe Pass.
