Shamrocks & Holly - An Irish Christmas Celebration
1996 recording of instrumental versions of Christmas-related songs and airs. As these efforts go, it’s probably one the best I’ve heard, and is worth it alone for Frankie’s flute version of "Ding Dong Merrily On High".
Frankie Gavin plays fiddle, flute, whistle and viola.
Carl Hession plays piano, church organ, and keyboards.
Joe Bernie plays saxophone.
also features "The Carl Hession Chamber Orchestra".
